Skill Requirements
A high school diploma or G.E.D. and one year related experience and/or training is required. Must have a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep, along with the housekeeping and laundry functions required in a healthcare facility or similar setting. Must have the ability to understand and follow safety procedures and precautions as they apply to maintenance and housekeeping functions. Must posses or obtain a working knowledge of state Boarding Home regulations pertaining to maintenance and housekeeping; infection control procedures; safety; and quality assurance. Must possess appropriate communication skills to foster and maintain positive relations with residents, families, physicians, state officials, Company staff, and outside healthcare agencies, and be able to work as part of a team.


As the Maintenance and Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of activities and tasks associated with the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the physical plant and facility grounds. In addition, you will be responsible for performing various tasks and activities within the Housekeeping and Laundry Department to maintain the facility in a sanitary and orderly condition.
