This position is an inside sales support for mro and production tooling and related products. Inside sales for industrial distribution provides customer service for new and existing customers through various media including telephone, email, fax, edi, scanners, software, and web relating to order placement, production specifications, and applications. Duties also include sourcing a wide variety of materials to meet customer requirements. This position may answer up to 50 incoming phone calls per day. It requires prioritizing ability along with excellent communication between customers, outside sales, and management. |
Excellent oral, written, and communication skills required. Fast and accurate computer operation skills. Knowledge of Profit 21 computer advantageous. Knowledge and application of tools and related products. Ability to respond and prioritize multiple tasks in a timely fashion. Attention to detail and accuracy. Follow through essential in daily tasks and customer commitments. Must possess sound reasoning skills, common sense, and legible writing. A commitment toward continual learning is essential. |
