This is not an IT position. 

The Support Specialist is responsible for resolving complex customer-related software issues associated with the implementation and support of Evosus Business Management software. Provides software support to customers, answering questions on function and usage of product. Serves as primary support liaison between company and customer. Conveys customer feedback to product development staff. 

Essential Duties:
*Troubleshoot and solve programming issues.
*Monitor, track, and document customer support calls and related activities in Help Desk system.
*Assist other departments (Development, Implementation, Training and QA) with software-related issues.

Work takes place in an office setting. It requires the ability to sit and work at a keyboard for extended periods of time and communicate with team members by phone, computer, and video teleconferencing. Must be prepared to work at designated start time and monitor call queue through out the day.

Experience:
*Bachelors degree, preferably majoring in Computer Science, Business, or Accounting and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. An Associate’s degree with 2 or more years relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.
*3 – 5 years experience in software support or retail management.
*Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, especially AR, AP and general ledger accounting.

Skill Requirements:

*Microsoft Windows XP and Windows 7
*Microsoft Office 2007/2010 Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
*Intermediate-to-advanced computer skills

Additional Skills Desired:
*Remote Desktop and Terminal Services
*Online meeting software such as WebEx or GoToMeeting
*Knowledge of printer troubleshooting
