Our fast-paced and dynamic Account Management Department is seeking a Bankruptcy Representative to join their team. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has a desire to learn and has a commitment to providing excellent member service. As the Bankruptcy Representative you will perform administrative tasks for accounts under bankruptcy protection; working with credit union members to negotiate terms, collecting on past due payments and communicating with attorneys to reclaim collateral. To be successful in this role, you must be a highly motivated, goal oriented team player that thrives on challenges.

Skill Requirements
* One year recent bankruptcy or legal experience required.
* Experience working in the financial services industry with a preference for prior collections experience.
* Ability to conduct research, understand bankruptcy terminology and work directly with attorneys and courts in a professional manner.
* Ability to negotiate and facilitate conversations with all types of people, including angry and disgruntled individuals.
* Ability to establish good working relationships with members and staff.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Problem solving and decision making skills.
* Must be flexible and detail-oriented.
* Excellent computer skills required.
* Proficiency in basic mathematics.
* Ability to read and write with proficiency.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. Must be available M-F 8am-8pm and Saturdays.
