Fabrication Lead

Boat Manufacturer located in Colville Washington is seeking an individual to fill a lead role in our metal fabrication department. 
Position Summary: Supervise & direct staff in the parts department: plan and assign work tasks, implement policies and procedures and monitor performance. 
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support supervisor’s directives and one another
Plan and coordinate daily work tasks to meet production daily & weekly schedule
Lead by example: balance safety, quality, and productivity 
Set and communicate department expectations to your personal
Hold employees accountable to meet safety, quality and productivity requirements.
Provide training for new hires including employees transferring into your department.
Cross Training: work with team leads to insure staff is cross trained to assist within multiple departments.


Ensure that all employees are treated consistently fair and firm.
Accept accountability to ensure production flow and on time delivery of scheduled boats 
A commitment to reduce rework
