Responsibilities: (Results)

•Support both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvements
•Generate and perform preventative maintenance procedures (tech and operator owned) for ‘homegrown’ test apparatus
•Serve as process co-owner and first responder for designated production lines
•Co-own production line creation and NPI industrialization
•Determine root cause on quality failures
•Analyze and assist in disposition of discrepant material
•Work with operators, Team Captains, and engineers on workmanship, manufacturability, process and design issues
•Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities and quality improvement.
•Provide training to technicians or operators on new processes
•Design, document and build quick fixtures for the manufacturing floor
•Lead project teams as necessary
•Periodically conduct maintenance during off-shift hours

Skill Requirements
Education: Associate of Electronics degree or equivalent/relevant degree.

Experience: 5+yrs electronics manufacturing experience. Proficient ability to troubleshoot with a multi-meter, amp-clamp, and other basic electric devices. Basic mechanical maintenance, teardown, and repair. Electro-Mechanical Aptitude. Computer-literate and experienced with Microsoft Office suite. Awareness of Product/Process qualification activities.

Preferred: Experience with SMT/PCB/finished goods manufacturing processes. Experience in IPC solder requirements and specifications. Experience with TPM, 8D, PDCA improvement methodology. Strong Lean Manufacturing toolbox. Ability to draft by hand or in CAD software. Experience with ISO 9000 and ISO 14000.
