Job Description
Selectron Technologies Inc., is searching for a Director of Operations Services to lead our Project Managers, Operations Specialists, and Technicians. This multifaceted role oversees a diverse and talented team and aligns the goals, objectives, and actions with our overall organizational strategy. This role requires a candidate that is able to contribute at a high level both individually and as a leader. The Director of Operations Services will work closely with the Executive Team on executive strategy and organization actions. The Director also provides critical leadership in responding to project and customer challenges, including: devising strategic direction; handling issue escalation; and coordinating organizational impact. Additionally they will motivate and mentor the Project Managers as well as a number of Technicians and Specialists. Responsibilities: • Ensure the delivery of projects and services to end customers while meeting quality, cost, and service level standards • Lead a diverse team directly, and a wider set of software developers and others indirectly to deliver successful client solutions • Communicate with and coordinate internal resources, vendors, partners, and clients in the implementation process • Provide strategic leadership to the team by setting direction; improving processes as necessary; and anticipating and reacting ongoing product and market evolution • Drive continual improvement in practices and tools. Foster innovation in project management operations • Assist in preparing annual project plans; performance management of direct team Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a technical or project management related field • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading multiple technical projects in a software development or professional services environment, with successful on time and on budget completion • Sound business judgment, with a good approach to the trade-offs involved in customer delivery • Very strong written and spoken communication skills including strong negotiation skills • Strong organizational and detail tracking skills, good familiarity with a broad array of project and program management tools and process • Experience with service-oriented or custom software products • Demonstrated mentoring of peers and subordinates Who We Are: Selectron Technologies is a privately owned software company that has been in business for over 50 years.
