Job Description
Benefits: This is a full time position and full benefits are provided. Vacation: 1 week after 1 yr., 2 after 3, 3 after 8, and 4 weeks after 12 years of service. Medical: Medical, vision, and dental benefits for employee and family and eligible dependents are provided by the company Uniforms: Pants and shirts are provided by company as is the first jacket. Retirement: Matching 401(k) and Profit Sharing Duties: Deliver products to restaurants, grocery stores, hospitals, warehouses and like accounts as the route is assigned. Use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, some lifting, and calculator use for paper work. Occasional use of company vans and cars required. This position requires customer contact. Cooperative attitude and good people skills are required. Routes are set to a fairly tight schedule and the applicant needs to be organized and efficient in the use of time. Training will be provided on the route to give the Route Salesman the location and products required for each account. Math skills are helpful in performing the duties of this position. A criminal background and credit check will be performed for all final candidates. Candidate must be able to pass a physical and drug screen and drug tests continue randomly. Previous route sales work is helpful and a good driving record and current Oregon CDL is required, with a Class A being preferred. References also will be checked.
