JOB DESCRIPTION The candidate must be able to learn quickly and have great multi-tasking skills. CDL (Class B) and/or current DOT Medical Card a plus!!! Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and pass at least a 7yr background check. JOB SUMMARY Mobile Shred Drivers are responsible for driving service vehicles, and providing timely service in a courteous and professional manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Safe operations of company equipment and primary or back-up driving responsibilities on all vehicles. • Utilize mobile communication equipment in a safe and practical way following company policies and standards. • Record accurate service information on daily paperwork. • Responsible for organizing/routing daily stops to be performed in the most efficient order. • Provide excellent customer service skills. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Qualified applicants will be able to demonstrate safe/efficient-driving skills, provide current MVR and be insurable with our carrier. • 3+years route transportation (driving) experience preferred. • Applicants should be computer proficient, able to communicate verbally with customers, able to complete paperwork accurately and completely and understand the importance of detail and accuracy. • Able to lift materials weighing up to 50+ pounds continuously • You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening, and a 7 year background check. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Standing: Must tolerate frequent periods of maintaining entire body in erect posture with static weight bearing on one or both legs without changing position. Frequency: Frequently Duration: 5-6 hours/day Work Performed: loading and unloading confidential information from secure containers Sitting: Must tolerate constant periods of resting entire body weight on buttocks without change in position. Frequency: Frequently Duration: 1-2 hours/day Work Performed: Driving Walking: Must tolerate continuous periods of moving the entire body from one location to another with the use of legs. Frequency: Continuous Duration: 5-6hrs/day Work Performed: Loading and unloading the truck, Servicing client locations Pushing: Must tolerate frequent periods of exerting force upon or against an object to move it away from the body. Frequency: Frequently Duration: 5-6 hrs./day Work Performed: Loading/unloading containers from client locations and vehicles Weight Range: 150-250 lbs. Pulling: Must tolerate frequent periods of exerting force upon or against an object to move it toward the body. Frequency: Frequently Duration: 5-6 hrs./day Work Performed: Loading/unloading containers from client locations and vehicles Weight Range: 150-250 lbs The ideal applicant will have current exp. in route transportation have flexible hours. Hours vary depending on routes. Monday through Friday 7am - 5pm, Occasional weekend work may be needed. Drug Screen and criminal background check is required. Skill Requirements
