JOB SUMMARY:
Within this position you will be responsible for serving as the senior specialist and Manager of the District Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems. You will manage the CADD and BIM environments and configure the system for integration with other networked environments. You will serve as the District Manager for the implementation of the Corps mandated design standards in CADD and BIM. YOu will troubleshoot problems with CADD and engineering related applications and environment used by District staff. You will serve as the lead manager and technical lead for the Portland District ProjectWise system.

General Schedule
• Qualified applicants must show in their resume that they have a year of specialized experience with: 1) Design production, project reviews and solicitation; 2) Implementation and use of emerging computer aided tools; 3) Quality management system and; 4) Post-construction activities (As-Builts).
• The experience described in your resume will be evaluated and screened for the Office of Personnel Management's basic qualifications requirements, and the skills needed to perform the duties of this position as described in this vacancy announcement.
• One year of experience in the same or similar work equivalent to at least the next lower grade or level requiring application of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the position being filled.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
