Responsibilities: • Support president in day-to-day operations • Prepare monthly financial statements • Prepare reports for management and sales staff • Accounts payable processing • Payroll processing with light human resource responsibility • General ledger account reconciliation • Assist with bi-annual physical inventory • File monthly & quarterly tax returns. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required Experience: • 5 to 7 years of accounting experience including working in an environment in which most, if not all, of the ongoing accounting duties were performed by one accounting employee. • An understanding of federal and Oregon payroll regulations. • Experience in a light manufacturing and/or a distribution environment • Understanding of and the ability to apply US GAAP • Experience in general ledger account reconciliation. | |||||||
